Carty part of minor coaching ticket as St Brigid's Fallon set to captain side

St Brigid's Tadgh Fallon will captain the Roscommon minor football team for the 2026 Connacht championship campaign, which gets underway away to Sligo on Friday week, March 20.

A total of 16 players from the south Roscommon region will form part of the 35-strong panel, which is managed by Shane Moran of Roscommon Gaels. Padraig Pearses stalwarts Niall Carty and Padraig Kelly will form part of Moran's backroom team.

Seamus Carthy (Roscommon Gaels) and Conor Tighe (Strokestown) have been named as vice-captains. Roscommon open their campaign away to Sligo in Tubbercurry on Friday, March 20 before hosting Galway in King and Moffatt Dr Hyde Park.
