Roscommon U20 football manager Cian Smith has named his panel ahead of the 2026 Connacht Championship.

Roscommon begin their 2026 Championship campaign on Wednesday next, March 18, with an away fixture against Galway in Tuam Stadium at 5pm.

Roscommon then host Sligo on Wednesday, March 25, in Ballyforan, before travelling to Castlebar to play Mayo in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park on Wednesday, April 1, at 6.30pm.

The Rossies have a bye in the fourth round of fixtures before playing their final round robin fixture against Leitrim on Wednesday, April 15. A venue and throw-in time has yet to be confirmed for this fixture.

Roscommon Gaels player Eoghan Carthy has been chosen as team captain. Carthy was a key figure in the TUS Midlands freshers team which won the Division 1 title earlier this year.

Pádraig Pearses club player Keelan Kelly and Niall Heneghan of Michael Glaveys are both in the role of vice-captains.
