Roscommon minor team confirmed for Galway clash
Roscommon minor football manager Shane Moran has named his starting team for the Connacht championship fixture against Galway in King & Moffatt Dr Hyde Park this evening (Friday), at 5.30pm.
The reigning provincial champions will hope to follow up their opening round win over Sligo with a home victory this evening, but face a strong Galway team who comprehensively accounted for Leitrim last week.
Clubs from south of the county are well represented in the starting team with Clann na nGael's Zac Mullally listed to play as goalkeeper.
St Brigid's club player and team captain Tadhg Fallon has been selected to play at full-back with Colm Fitzgerald St Dominic's starting at left corner-back.
Two Padraig Pearses players, Jack Brooks and Enda Browne, have been included on the half back line, while Clann na nGael's Bobby Lenehan and Joshua Coyne from St Brigid's (both scorers in the win over Sligo) are listed to start in the attack.
Following this evening's home fixture Roscommon travel to Castlebar to play Mayo on Friday, April 3, before completing their round robin fixtures against Leitrim on Friday, April 10.
