Westmeath lands another €1 million lotto win

A second Westmeath player has won €1 million within the space of a week in a National Lottery draw.

The successful person matched all six numbers in Monday’s 9pm Daily Million draw to win the top prize. The winning ticket was purchased on the day of the draw.

The windfall follows on from the midweek National Lottery draw on Wednesday, March 25, which saw a Westmeath player become an overnight millionaire after scooping the top prize of €1 million in the Lotto Plus 1 draw.

The winning Daily Million numbers for Monday’s, March 30, 9pm draw were 2, 3, 5, 8, 12, 31 and the bonus number was 18.

The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning store location will be revealed tomorrow, Wednesday, April 1.

National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan said, “this latest Daily Million win comes days after another Westmeath player scooped €1 million in the Lotto Plus One draw. That winning ticket was purchased at Corrib Oil Service Station on the Ballymahon Road in Athlone.

"We’re urging all our Midlands Daily Million players to check their tickets very carefully today, as someone is now holding a ticket worth €1 million.

"The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket, keep it safe, and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie, and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize," Ms Monaghan said.
