Another lotto millionaire for Athlone!

Athlone strikes again with its second millionaire in a week, as a Daily Million player scooped the €1 million top prize in Monday’s 9pm draw.

The National Lottery’s latest millionaire purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket, on the day of the draw, March 30, from Smith's SuperValu in Monksland.

The Daily Million numbers for Monday’s 9pm draw were: 2, 3, 5, 8, 12, 31 and the Bonus was 18.

SuperValu Store Manager, Tim Dolan, was delighted to receive the phone call to confirm that his store sold the winning Daily Million ticket. “We can’t believe it – Athlone has had two big wins in the space of a week and we’re delighted to be part of the excitement.

"There’s a great sense of pride knowing this incredible prize was won right here in our store. We’ve been proudly serving the community here in Monksland for 19 years, supporting locals across Roscommon and Westmeath, and we’re hopeful this marks the beginning of many more big wins to come. Our staff and customers are absolutely thrilled, and we wish the winner every happiness as they enjoy their windfall!”

Spokesperson Emma Monaghan said the National Lottery was waiting to hear from the latest Daily Million winner.

"We’re urging all our players to check their tickets very carefully, and if you’re holding that winning ticket, sign the back of it, keep it safe, and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie. We look forward to welcoming the winner to Lottery HQ to collect their prize.”

This latest win comes hot on the heels of last Wednesday’s (25th March) Lotto Plus 1 top prize of €1 million, scooped by another Westmeath player who purchased their winning ticket at Corrib Oil Service Station on the Ballymahon Road in Athlone.
