Westmeath U20 team named for Wexford clash
Westmeath Under-20 football manager Kenny McKinley has named his team to play Wexford in the Leinster championship this evening (Wednesday).
The game is scheduled for a 7.30pm start in Chadwicks Wexford Park as Westmeath aim for a first win in their 2026 provincial campaign.
Westmeath suffered an 11 point loss to reigning Leinster champions Louth in their opening Group 1 encounter on Friday.
Wexford are also looking for their first Leinster championship win following their three point defeat to Dublin on Wednesday last.
Following this evening's game in Wexford, Westmeath conclude their round robin campaign against Dublin on Wednesday, April 8.
The provincial knockout phase will start on Wednesday, April 15, culminating in the Leinster final on Wednesday, April 29.
