Athlone's first ever Pride parade to take place this summer

Heartlands Pride will be hosting Athlone's first ever Pride parade this summer.

The organisation will run its first summer Pride celebration from Wednesday, June 3 to Sunday, June 7.

Athlone will be having it's very first Pride parade on Saturday, June 6.

Heartlands Pride has set up a fundraising page to help with the costs of running the festival.

First set up in 2023, it has been running a Winter Pride each year, and hopes to make Summer Pride a sustainable and annual event.
