McHugh names Westmeath team for massive Leinster SFC semi-final clash

Westmeath manager Mark McHugh has named his starting team for Sunday's eagerly awaited Leinster Senior Football Championship semi-final against Kildare (Glenisk O'Connor Park, Tullamore, 2pm).

The Lake County suffered a major blow earlier this week with the news that key attacker Luke Loughlin will miss the remainder of the campaign through injury. Caulry's Senan Baker has been selected to deputise in attack.

There was also doubts about the availability of Matthew Whittaker but he has been deemed fit to start. Jason Daly is called on to replace the injured goalkeeper Conor McCormack. Otherwise, the rest of the Westmeath starting line-up remains the same that began the great quarter-final win against Meath.
