Aoife, from Clara, made the most metres in contact of any centre in the 2025 Guinness Women’s Six Nations (83) and was also the only player to play all 400 minutes in the midfield in this year’s Championship.

She was named as the Guinness 'Player of the Match' following Ireland's defeat of Italy in Round 2 of this year's competition, one of two Six Nations achieved by the country in the 2025 campaign.

Ireland completed their Six Nations fixtures on Saturday last when they were narrowly defeated by Scotland on a scoreline of 26-19.

Ireland finished the tournament in third position behind winners England and runners-up France.

Ireland's Neve Jones and Aoife Wafer were also selected on the Guinness 'Team of the Championship' which saw a record-breaking 12,639 rugby fans engage in this year's public vote.
