East Galway takes big lotto prize

One lucky person is €500,000 richer this week after purchasing a winning Daily Million ticket in East Galway last week.

The person has become Ireland's third winner of the Daily Million Plus top prize of €500,000 in 2025 in last Friday's 2pm Daily Million Plus draw.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw from Mountbellew Post Office, Co. Galway.

The winning numbers in Friday, May 9, 2pm Daily Million Plus draw were: 8, 16, 28, 29, 33, 34 and the bonus was 27.
