Another prominent Athlone business to close its doors

The Office Centre, located in Athlone's Mardyke Street, is due to close its doors permanently tomorrow evening (Tuesday).

The closure marks yet another loss for the town's main street, which has been plagued with a string of business closures in recent months.

In a statement posted to the shop front, The Office Centre said: "Our retail shop will permanently close on Tuesday, May 20 at 6pm.

"We would like to sincerely thank all our customers for their support throughout the years and assure you that our teams are still available to look after you with expert advice and next day delivery."

The Office Centre has six other locations across Ireland, including Tullamore, Limerick, Newbridge, Carlow, Kilkenny, and Dublin.
