Dolan welcomes completion of road works in Castledaly area

Local councillor John Dolan has welcomed the completion of road resurfacing works in the Castledaly area.

"I welcome the recent completion of road works in the Castledaly and Kilgarvan areas," said the Fine Gael representative.

"I successfully lobbied to have a fine new surface on the L54091 and the road at Castledaly Church and school, which has now been completed to a very high standard.

"I want to thank the council for completing these works, in particular the local authority engineer for ensuring they were completed before the fabulous week of celebrations which took place for the 150th anniversary of the building of the church.

"It is important that our rural roads are continually repaired and maintained to high standard," Cllr Dolan added.
