Glasson's Lucy makes her mark in Hickstead and the RDS
Glasson teenager Lucy Donnelly has had a busy summer on the equestrian front along with her ten-year-old mare, Tinraher Aggie.
Lucy qualified for the Royal International Horse Show in Hickstead last month. Competing in the 143cm to 153cm working hunter class, Lucy placed second in her category.
The Royal International Horse Show is a prestigious show held annually in Hickstead, West Sussex, England.
Following on from her appearance there, Lucy competed in the same category of competition in the renowned Dublin Horse Show at the RDS earlier this month and placed third.
From Kilkenny Abbey, Glasson, Lucy is a transition year student in Athlone Community College. The 16-year-old is a member of the Irish Pony Society.
Tinraher Aggie is a Dun Mare which is a female horse with certain genetic traits such as coat colour.
Lucy has been coached for a number of years by Thomasina O'Reilly and Seamus Daly.
