Moate dance school nominated for several prestigious awards
Moate-based Dancezone Stage School have been nominated for seven awards in the Official and Registered Dance Awards Ireland.
The event that is set to take place in the Mansion House in Dublin on Saturday, October 25, and will be officially opened on the night by the Lord Mayor Of Dublin.
"It's an unbelievable surprise and staggering achievement in itself to be nominated in such a prestigious event. These awards honour excellence across Irelands Dance Industry," said Sandra Julian, founder of Dancezone Stage School.
Dancezone Stage School has been selected as a Dance Awards Ireland 2025 Finalist in the categories: Dance School of the Year – Industry & Professional Recognition; Dance Studio of the Year – Industry & Professional Recognition; Dance Educator of the Year – Education & Training Excellence (Sandra Julian); Youth Development through Dance – Well-being & Community Impact; Musical Theatre Programme of the Year – Performance & Artistic Excellence; Cross-Cultural Dance Collaboration of the Year – Cultural & Heritage Contributions; Outstanding Contribution to Ireland’s Dance Industry – Honorary & Lifetime Achievements (Sandra Julian).
The school has been active in the local community for over 30 years, training the youth and adults across the midlands and have gotten them to perform on stages locally, nationally and internationally.
