Savoury Fare to open fourth restaurant and café in Moate
Popular restaurant and café Savoury Fare will open to the public in Moate's Tuar Ard Arts Centre tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 8.30am.
The business, co-owned by Des Hennelly and Rory Currid, celebrated its 30th anniversary during the summer, the latest restaurant and café venture complementing existing Athlone locations in Irishtown, Fernhill and Monksland.
Speaking prior to the official opening on Thursday morning, co-owner Des Hennelly said the opening of a fourth Savoury Fare restaurant was a fitting way to mark the 30th anniversary of the business.
"It is great to mark the occasion of our 30th anniversary with the opening of our latest restaurant and café in Moate.
"We have received amazing support from the local community since we announced our plans to open in Tuar Ard Arts Centre.
"We hope to become an integral part of Moate and serve the community for years to come," Des said.
Savoury Fare will be open seven days per week, Monday-Saturday from 8.30am-5.30pm and on Sunday from 10am-6pm.
