WATCH: Shannonbridge pub receives piano performance from presidential candidate

Luker's of Shannonbridge received an unexpected performance from presidential candidate Catherine Connolly last week.

The Galway West TD stopped in the local bar on Friday (September 19), taking to the piano to perform a tune for all those in attendance.

Taking to social media to share the moment, Luker's of Shannonbridge wrote: "It’s not every day you have a future president of Ireland in for a tune in a 250 year old pub!

"It was lovely to have presidential candidate Catherine Connolly in for a tune and a chat during day. We wish her the very best of luck."
