Catherine Connolly to visit Athlone this week

Presidential candidate Catherine Connolly will be paying a visit to Athlone this Wednesday, October 22, two days before the election.

That morning, she will be in Cavan and Monaghan, and she is expected in Longford Town at 5pm for a street canvass.

The Independent politician will arrive in Athlone for approximately 6.20pm for another street canvass, and will visit TUS Students Union Midlands for a talk with staff and students, to which all are welcome.

After that, the Galway TD will be in Mullingar, where there will be a gathering from approximately 8.20pm to approximately 9.30pm in a location yet to be shared.

Voters will go to the polls this Friday to elect either Ms Connolly or Fine Gael's Heather Humphreys as the next president of Ireland.
