Brandon brings his award-winning show to Moate
The renowned Scottish singer and accordion player Brandon McPhee is bringing his award-winning show to Moate's Tuar Ard Arts Centre later this month.
Brandon, accompanied by guest singer Manson Grant, will be performing at the local venue on Thursday, October 30.
At the age of 17, Brandon won the All Scottish accordion championship, in what was the first time in almost 30 years that a button key accordion won this competition.
He followed this up by spending a number of years honing his craft in music, reaching professional status not only due to his accordion but also his vocals.
Over the years he has performed to Royal audiences and for international dignitaries including Margot Robbie and James Nesbitt. He has also played at esteemed institutions Oxford and Cambridge University, as well as to thousands of supporters at his concerts and theatre shows.
In the studio, Brandon has recorded duets with Daniel O’Donnell, Foster and Allen, Tony Allen, and has shared the stage with the likes of Gene Watson, Van Morrison and many more.
Brandon McPhee’s show is a celebration of country, Scottish, folk and Irish music, showcasing his virtuoso accordion skills, heartfelt vocals and captivating stage presence. A truly unforgettable music experience.
The recent theatre tour of Scotland and Ireland featured many standing ovations. "You were absolutely fantastic accordion playing was amazing and your singing voice blew me away," was one of the many positive audience comments received after the tour.
