Robbie Henshaw has been named to start for Ireland in their third Autumn international test series against Australia

Henshaw retains place for Australia Aviva test

Robbie Henshaw has retained his place on the Ireland team to play Australia in the Aviva Stadium tomorrow night (Saturday) at 8.10pm.

Henshaw played for the entirety of Ireland's 41-10 victory over Japan at the Dublin venue on Saturday last with team manager Andy Farrell opting to start the Athlone centre in his familiar berth once again against the Wallabies.

The Coosan native will be hoping to contribute to a more fluid team performance as Ireland aim to replicate their three point November 2024 defeat of Australia.

Australia arrive in Dublin on the back of a surprise seven point loss to Italy last weekend, Ireland striving to achieve successive test wins at the Aviva Stadium.

Ireland complete their Autumn international test series with a home game against reigning World Cup champions South Africa on Saturday, November 22.
