Cracker of a festive season lined up at Dean Crowe Theatre
There is a great line up of entertainment at the Dean Crowe Theatre this Christmas season! Who doesn't love a bit of Bruce Springsteen? Come see Ireland’s premier Bruce tribute, “The Human Touch” on Saturday, December 6.
Then on Sunday, December 7, bring the kids along to see "I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” - a Christmas musical adventure for the little ones which kicks off at 12noon.
If you love a bit of Rat Pack, then “Crooners at Christmas!" on December 11, with songs from Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Peggy Lee and many more, will be right up your street.
Then on December 12, the King of Soul himself, Rob Strong will be on stage. With decades of entertaining the nation under his belt, you will love the pure sound of soul with songs from The Commitments and so much more.
The Dean Crowe Theatre is delighted to welcome one of Ireland’s best loved actors, Don Wycherly, to the stage for his critically acclaimed production of “Paddy” on Saturday, December 13. It is a one-man play telling the story of Paddy Armstrong, one of the Guildford Four. The play is receiving rave reviews and is definitely one not to be missed by lovers of drama.
Finally, the one and only Declan Nerney completes the festive season on Sunday, December 14, with his “Christmas Hooley”. He is joined by special guests Mick Flavin and John McNicoll and this will be an absolute treat for lovers of top class country music.
Also, don’t forget to get your tickets for the annual Panto in January. This year it's the hilarious “Jack and the Beanstalk”, which is turning out to be a giant tale of fun and frolics.
