Local karate club to hold Christmas Fair & Market

St Mary's Karate Club, Athlone will host a special Christmas Fair and Market on Saturday, December 6 to help raise funds for its members ongoing preparations for upcoming tournaments in Romania.

The market will commence at St Mary's Hall, Athlone at 10am and will run until 5pm.

The funds raised will help provide team kits, training equipment, and essential travel supports.

With over 30 stalls and a full schedule of live performances throughout the day, it promises to be a well-attended and entertaining event.

Among those performing throughout the day at Irish dancers from Luan Academy, karate demonstrations by St Mary’s Karate Club, Foroige dance group, Longford Karate Club, musician Martin Garrick, DJ Connor, Tatiana’s Ukrainian musical group, and an Indian dance group performance. Children attending will also get to meet Santa and have their faces painted.
