Athlone Chamber appoints new Festival & Events Co-ordinator
Athlone Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of Emily O’Callaghan as its new Festival and Events Co-ordinator.
The vital role, funded by Westmeath County Council, reflects the Chamber's commitment to enhancing the vibrancy and cultural life of Athlone through its festivals and events.
From Athlone, Emily joins Athlone Chamber following her recent graduation from ATU Galway, where she earned a Level 8 Degree in Events Management with Public Relations.
Emily’s appointment is set to enhance Athlone’s festival and events calendar, strengthening community engagement and providing exciting opportunities for residents and visitors alike.
Speaking about her appointment, Emily said “I’m really looking forward to connecting with the community, working with volunteers, and businesses, and bringing people together through fun and engaging events. I’m especially excited to explore fresh ideas and help shape events that truly fit Athlone”
