Athlone Town's First Division fixtures confirmed

Athlone Town men's first team will start their 2026 SSE Airtricity First Division campaign with a home fixture against Finn Harps on Friday, February 13, at 7.45pm.

A journey south to Mounthawk Park Tralee then awaits as Ian Ryan's charges play Kerry FC on Friday, February 20, at 7.45pm, the club's first away fixture of their league campaign.

Fixtures for the SSE Airtricity Men's First Division, Women’s Premier Division, and Men’s Premier Division were released this morning (Tuesday), the 2026 league season now mapped out before the Lissywollen club.

Having claimed 20 points from 36 league games during the 2025 season, Athlone Town will be hoping for a positive start to their 2026 campaign and build momentum as the season progresses.

Meanwhile, the first of four Midlands 'El Clasico' fixtures against Longford Town takes place on Easter Monday, April 6, at 5pm.

Athlone Town close out their league campaign with a trip to Bishopsgate for the fourth Midlands derby of the season, a game that kicks-off at 7.45pm.
