Snow warning for Roscommon

Met Éireann has issued a warning for snow and ice for nine counties, including Roscommon.

The yellow warning is for Saturday night and early Sunday and for Sunday night and early Monday.

Met Éireann is forecasting wintry showers with some snow accumulations and sharp or severe frost and ice.

It says the weather could possibly lead to hazardous travel conditions and poor visibility.

The warning is for Cavan, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Louth, Mayo, Monaghan, Roscommon, and Sligo. It spans from 6pm on Saturday to 11am on Sunday, and from 6pm Sunday evening to 11am Monday.
