'Perfect Wedding' is coming to Moate
The Laois Open Door Theatre group is returning to Moate's Tuar Ard Arts Centre on Saturday, February 14, at 8pm, with its production of the hilarious comedy 'Perfect Wedding' by Robin Hawdon.
'Perfect Wedding', which has proven to be a hit with audiences worldwide, tells the story of a wedding day that goes disastrously wrong, causing chaos to all concerned.
Laois Open Door Theatre is a Laois-based amateur drama group founded in 2000. Last year, it celebrated its 25th anniversary with packed houses attending its performances.
The group draws members from all walks of life and all areas of Laois, performing drama, tragedy, comedy, and farce - something to suit all tastes.
As the name suggests the ‘door’ has always been open to new members throughout the years, and continues to welcome new people with a passion for amateur drama, whether it is on stage, backstage or front of house.
Laois Open Door is very fortunate to have an incredibly dedicated backstage and front of house crew who are paramount to its continuance and ongoing success.
Tickets for its production of 'Perfect Wedding' in Moate on February 14, directed by Ann Campbell, can be booked on tuarard.ie and are priced €15/€12.
