All-Ireland Senior 'A' semi-final fixture confirmed for Moate CS

Moate Community School will play Clare team St. Joseph's Secondary School Spanish Point in the Lidl All-Ireland Post Primary Schools Senior 'A' Championship semi-finals next month.

The game will be played on Thursday, March 12, in Tuam Stadium, with throw-in scheduled for 2pm.

The Moate CS girls defeated Scoil Chríost Rí Portlaoise in an eagerly contest Leinster final played in late 2025 and will be hoping that winning form is sustained for the imminent semi-final encounter.

The team features a number of players who were central to the school's All-Ireland Post Primary Schools Junior 'A' win in 2025, many of whom played a prominent role in the team's provincial success.

March will mark an All-Ireland semi-final double for Moate CS as the school's Junior 'A' team contest a final four fixture against Cork side St Mary’s, Macroom, in Fethard Town Park, County Tipperary, on Thursday, March 5 - see separate article here
