Athlone Town given go-ahead for bar at stadium

Athlone Town Football Club has been granted permission to open a public licensed lounge/bar at the stadium.

The club recently sought planning approval for the change of use of an existing shop at the stadium in Lissywollen to bar use.

In documentation as part of the planning bid, the applicant, Athlone Town Football Club, described itself as the owner of the site.
