Parking restricted at Athlone's Ss Peter and Paul's Church

Access to the car park at Ss Peter and Paul's Church in Athlone will be restricted for a period of eight weeks.

In a social media message to parishioners, Parish Priest at Ss. Peter & Paul's parish, Fr. John Deignan, said that access to the church grounds would be restricted from Monday, June 1, to allow for the "replacement of a dangerous section of the boundary wall".

"No all day parking will be allowed and traffic will not be able to drive around the church during this time," Fr John said.

Parishioners have been advised to leave the remaining spaces free for those attending mass or visiting the church.
