Traffic advice for supporters ahead of Westmeath v Cavan

Westmeath GAA and an Garda Síochána has issued traffic advice for patrons attending this Saturday's All-Ireland SFC Round 1 clash between the Lake County and Cavan at TEG Cusack Park, Mullingar (throw-in: 5pm).

The gates at the ground will be open for entrance from 3pm with road closures in operation at Gilleran's Supervalu car park at McCurtain Street from 2pm, and at Spout Well Lane from 3pm. Patrons are asked to follow the advice of stewards and an Garda Síochána, and to have tickets ready when approaching road barriers for checking.

The traffic advice also states that parking options are available at St Loman's, Mullingar, St Oliver Plunkett's, Mullingar Shamrocks, and Loreto College Mullingar. Further car parking is available at Harbour Field between the hours of 3pm and 8pm.
