Variety Concert
A Variety Concert will take place in Tang Church on July 19th at 4pm. It is in aid of Temple St Hospital research into Ornithine Carbamylase Deficiency, a rare metabolic disease affecting only five people in Ireland and one in Tang parish. Everyone, young and old, is invited to take part in the concert. Tickets are on sale for €10, no admission charge for children. Please bring your friends to support this cause.A fabulous afternoon of local entertainment is guaranteed and organisers are hoping for a full house. Bus Service Westmeath Rural Transport will operate a bus service to Athlone Leisure Centre, Pool and Town centre on alternate Wednesdays, leaving Ballymahon at 2.15pm; Tang car park at 2.30pm and returning at 4.30pm. The principal areas are within the speed limit signs. Asjudging may take place any time during the summer months we ask all to be vigilant re litter and help keep the area clean.
