The Three Amigos are back in the midlands in January

IT’S that time of the year again. Yes, with preparations in full swing for another ‘Three Amigos’ concert tour starring Jimmy Buckley, Robert Mizzell and Patrick Feeney, the sense of anticipation is palpable as the trio focus on bringing their musical extravaganza to venues up and down the country.

A decade has elapsed since the well-known singers took their first steps on the concert circuit and since then the Three Amigos brand has become an annual fixture on the Irish entertainment scene.

With the Covid-19 pandemic having dramatically limited live shows – indeed, they were non-existent for a considerable period – there would now appear to be a palpable appetite for concerts and shows and the Three Amigos are enthusiastically poised to playa their part in meeting that demand.

From small acorns mighty oak grows and since they took their first steps as a concert trio all those years ago, the Amigos have become an annual fixture on the entertainment calendar – so much so, indeed, that this time round initial demand for tickets for their traditional sell-out shows is already exceeding demand.

And indeed concert-goers are in for a rare treat with the Three Amigos already immersed in putting the finishing touches to a show that not only encompasses the very best in country music but also a ration of comedy and impressionist flair that will certainly find favour with audiences.

While each of the performers will bring their own particular talents into play, their combined singing will highlight a fusion of big ballads, lively country numbers, current hits and a flavour of nostalgia.

Renowned for their energy and professionalism, the Three Amigos are leaving no stone unturned in a concerted bid – if you’ll excuse the pun - to ensure that their audiences are offered a show which, in the words of Jimmy Buckley, “will have something for everyone.”

In an era in which the bar has been raised in terms of quality of entertainment, the Three Amigos have responded in a positive fashion and are particularly anxious to unveil their new show.

The groundwork has been done and such is the enthusiasm, commitment and dedication of the trio that their show looks certain to be branded a major hit. Seeing is believing so get those tickets now!
