Ballinasloe tourism weekend to offer bog walk and distillery tour
A tourism sample weekend has been launched for Ballinasloe and surrounding area with numerous activities including a guided bog walk and distillery tour.
The 'Something for Everyone Weekend' will take place this weekend from Friday, May 26 until Sunday, May 28 with exciting offerings such as a rambling house, kids heritage trail and kayaking and boat trip.
The steering group of local tourism and hospitality interests have been working hard in the background to build on the huge heritage and amenity work done by a variety of community and voluntary interests to position Ballinasloe as an off grid tourism gem of the Hidden Heartlands.

The event is being supported by Ballinasloe Credit Union and Galway County Council
