Gardai are looking for the owner of a quantity of jewellery found in Westmeath.

In a post on social media yesterday (Tuesday), Garda Síochána Westmeath shared several photos of a jewellery collection which, they said, was found in a pillow case.

The guards added that, if anyone recognises any of the pieces, proof of ownership will be required.

Some photos of the jewellery can be seen below, and if anyone recognises the various pieces they can contact the Garda property office in Athlone on: 09064 21710.
