Gardai looking for owner of 'unusual' item found on Athlone road

Local Gardai are looking to find the owner of a black car roof luggage holder that was found on a road in Athlone.

In a social media post today (Thursday), Garda Siochana Westmeath shared photos of the "unusual find" made on Retreat Road.

The Garda post asked for the owner of the item to get in contact.

"If you got home and discovered yours has gone, give us a call. This one is locked so the owner should be able to open it," said the Garda post.
