Eirgrid award at national SciFest finals
Moate Community School Fifth Year students Nathan Downes, Daniel Lynam and Éanna Maxwell presented their project ‘Can Native Waterweeds Solve Farmers' Feed and Pollution Problems’, at the SciFest National Final in the Marino Conference Center, Dublin, on November 24. They were among 30 projects at the final from various schools around the country. The students were delighted to be awarded the EirGrid Climate & Cleaner Energy Award. Congratulations to Nathan, Daniel and Éanna.
