Athlone Gardai are seeking public help to locate a teenager

Gardai believe a 16-year-old missing from Limerick could be in the Athlone area.

This evening, Gardai renewed a missing person's appeal over the whereabouts of 16-year-old Marius Stancu, who has been reported missing from his home in Askeaton, Co. Limerick, since Wednesday, March 13, at approximately 9.30am.

Marius is described as being between 5 ft 8 and 5 ft 10 inches in height, with a slim build, dark brown hair, and brown eyes. It is not known what Marius was wearing when last seen.

Gardaí believe Marius may have travelled to the Athlone area.
