Christmas arrived a little early at the Athlone Springs Hotel, which recently won the National ' Best Hospitality Website Award' at a ceremony in Dublin's Four Seasons Hotel earlier this month.

The award sponsored by Hospitality Ireland Magazine was given in recognition of the quality of design, ease of navigation, customer focus and innovative on the online booking service. Accepting the award on behalf of the hotel Sales and Marketing Manager, Yolande Bell, said: "It was a reflection of the hard work of all the marketing team which have kept the website current and attractive as a means of communicating the hotels marketing message to its diverse customer base."

The popular four star Athlone Springs Hotel has settled well into the community on the western side of town and is now a destination of choice for both leisure and corporate events.

The hotel are also proud sponsors of three local sporting clubs, Buccaneers RFC , Clann Na Gael GAA and St Josephs Football Club. Zen Health and Leisure Club which forms part of the hotel complex is considered one of Athlone's best leisure centres and has in excess of a thousand members.

Next up is the party season and the hotel is featuring a selection of acts including Abba and 80's night for its Christmas party nights with prices from €29.50.

Then on Stephen's night Keith McDonald and the Showband show will be performing followed by an 80's disco. Tickets are on sale at €18 from reception or on the night.

Keep an eye on the award winning website for more information.
