Ait information and registration evening

Athlone Institute of Technology is hosting an information and registration event this evening (Wednesday), for part-time courses, from 5.30pm to 8.30pm in the John Count McCormack Centre.

Some 100 courses are offered by AIT on a part-time basis, ranging from two-year higher certificates and honours degrees, through to master’s qualifications, as well as a wide range of hobby courses.

Among the part-time courses offered by AIT are qualifications in accounting, social media applications and e-business, law, restaurant management, business, social care, early years care and education, applied addiction studies, quality management, Lean Six Sigma, CISCO, occupational health and safety, and sport science.

According to Dr Michael Tobin, Head of Department of Lifelong Learning at AIT: “Our mission is to provide the adult learner with flexible and innovative learning routes, enabling the learner to achieve a third level qualification, while also recognising they have work, family, and indeed life commitments. In doing this we aim to partner with you, the student, to ensure that your third level learning and normal daily life can co-exist as you attain your qualification.”
