Gacquin is roscommons new minor football manager

 

Jimmy Gacquin has been appointed as manager of the Roscommon minor football team.

Gacquin was ratified at the Roscommon Minor Football Committee meeting last night (Tuesday), and he succeeds Fergal O’Donnell in the role.

A former St Brigid’s player, Gacquin won a Roscommon senior football championship medal with the Kiltoom club in 1997.

Gacquin has plenty of coaching and managerial experience, and he led the Roscommon U21s to a Connacht title in 2010.

In his new role as Roscommon minor manager, Gacquin will be assisted by Niall Finneran (Padraig Pearses), David Foley (Shannon Gaels) and Gerard Nugent (Kilglass Gaels).
