Brigids star recognised for national league success

Roscommon’s Senan Kilbride has been chosen as the GAA/GPA Opel All-Star Player of the Month award for his starring role against Down in the Division 2 National League final during April.

St Brigid’s Senan Kilbride put in a sterling man of the match performance against the Mournemen, scoring four points from play as the Rossies enjoyed a 1-17 to 0-15 win over Down. Roscommon will take on London in Ruislip in just four weeks time, as they kick off their 2015 Connacht SFC campaign.

Kevin Moran takes the honours in hurling, with Waterford crowned Division 1 champions in Thurles.
