Wind warning in place until this afternoon

A wind warning is in place for the country until 3pm today.
Met Éireann has warned that we can expect wind sppeds of 35-55km/h, which will occasionally gust to 110km/h in exposed areas.
In Westmeath mid-day wind speeds are expected to be about 35km/h, with similar speeds expected in Roscommon.
Over the coming days both counties will have mixed weather, with showers, some cloud and a little sunshine.
The mid-day temperature in Westmeath today is 14C, while in Roscommon it’s 13C.
