Success for Kiltoom ICA at All Ireland competition

Two members of the Kiltoom branch of the Irish Countrywomen"s Association (ICA) enjoyed success recently at the ICA"s All Ireland finals held at An Grianán, Termonfeckin. In the "Design, Make and Model" section Wendy Donoghue came second out of over 20 finalists with her chocolate brown and fawn embroidered linen suit. Meanwhile, in the "Short Story" section Ann Murphy came third with "If Only" - which was based on a true story from her childhood when she longed for a pair of rubber-soled shoes without studs. Ann"s story will be published among a collection of short stories in next year"s ICA centenary booklet. Congratulations to both ladies on their success.
