Neighbourhood Watch meeting

A Neighbourhood Watch scheme has been established in Tubberclair on foot of a recent public meeting. Paul Kearney has been elected Chairperson with Mary Kearney as Secretary and Mary Margaret Lennon taking the position of Treasurer. Another meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 3, and local people are urged to attend. Help Wanted Local woman Julie Ryan will be bagpacking in Dunnes Stores, Irishtown, Athlone, on June 6 next in aid of St Luke"s Hospital. All help and support on the day would be greatly appreciated. Conquer Cancer collection The Conquer Cancer collection takes place in Tubberclair over the weekend of June 6 and 7 next. Your generosity would be most appreciated. Parent and Toddler Group The local Parent and Toddler Group now meet every Friday in Tubberclair Community Centre at 10am. All are welcome. For further information call 087 2959826.
