The following were the lucky winners: 1st prize - Ken Martin, Trim; 2nd prize - Gerry Campbell, Shurock; 3rd prize - Michael Martin, Mulholland, Athlone; 4th prize - Bríd Costello, Caltra; 5th prize - Dominique Clarke, Dunboyne and 6th prize- Leona McManus, Hall. Prizes will be presented on Friday next, October 30, in P Egan's pub, Moate, at 8.30pm. Moate Bóthar wishes to extend a special thanks to all who helped with the goats and heifers and to those who helped with the organisation of the draw; your continued support is greatly appreciated.
