€8.7 million Lotto luck in Athlone
It's emerged last night's (Wednesday, June 20) €8.7 million winning Lotto ticket was sold in Athlone. The lucky €6 ticket was purchased in the First Chapter shop in Goldenisland Shopping Centre yesterday (Wednesday). The winning line was a quickpick. A spokesperson for the National Lottery confirmed that there was just one winner of the jackpot worth a whopping €8,749,912. No one has come forward as of yet. The winning numbers were 15 31 35 38 40 45 and bonus number 11.
