Gardai seek witnesses to bookies break-in

Gardai are seeking witnesses to a break-in at Bruce Betting in Moate this week. The break-in occurred between 9.30pm on Monday at 10am on Tuesday and a sum of cash was taken in the break-in. It wasn't established at the time of going to print how much cash was taken. It is the second time this year there has been a break-in at the bookies, where there was also a break-in on January 19. A Garda Scenes of Crime Unit was carrying out an investigation at the shop yesterday (Tuesday) and it had not been established how entry was gained to the premises.
