Henshaw's meteoric rise documented on RTE

THE rapid ascent of former Marist College pupil into the Irish senior rugby set-up will be documented on RTE's 'PunkTv' at 5.55pm today (Tuesday). The RTE cameras visited the Marist College recently and the programme is set to feature details of the school's memorable run to the Connacht Schools' Senior Cup title last year, in which Henshaw (a regular feature for Connacht this season) featured prominently as captain. The Marist began the defence of their title earlier today with victory over Coláiste Iognáid (The Jes). Henshaw was last week drafted into Declan Kidney's Ireland training squad and is expected to feature for the Ireland Wolfhounds in Friday's match against England Saxons at the Sportsground in Galway (7.35pm). The Ireland squad for the start of the Six Nations Championship will also be selected from the provisional squad announced last week.
