Pat Flanagan has named his Westmeath U21 team for the Leinster championship quarter-final against Wexford at Lakepoint Park, Mullingar tonight (Wednesday), throw-in 7.30pm.

Westmeath will be looking for a big performance from senior star John Heslin, who will be partnered at midfield by Tang's Trevor English.

Another Tang player, John Rock and Garrycastle's Gary McCallon have been selected in the full back line.

Castledaly's Paddy Holloway, David 'Dude' McCormack of Rosemount and Tubberclair's Alan Coffey are included in attack.

Paddy Joyce and Seanie Daly – both of whom were key figures in Mullingar Shamrocks' Westmeath SFC success last year – are also in the starting fifteen.
