The Script in Kilbeggan!

A large crowd turned up at Kilbeggan Distillery last Sunday afternoon to see international pop act The Script, who took some time out of their hectic world tour to pay a visit to Kilbeggan Distillery.
The band spent three hours at the distillery and they were brought on a guided tour of the 256 year old Irish whiskey distillery by Master Blender Noel Sweeney and Brand Ambassador John Cashman. The visit was memorialized by the laying of a cask in the band’s honour. The Script cask will reside in Kilbeggan for the next three years until it has legally matured into Irish whiskey. At that stage the band can decide to bottle their whiskey or let it mature further. The visit was filmed by the band’s World Tour camera crew.
The Kilbeggan Distilling Company have laid casks down for Mumford & Sons and President Obama in the past.
