Live Blog ... Westmeath v Armagh

While Westmeath are promoted with a game to spare, Derry need at least a point in their last game against the Lake County to join them in the top flight for 2014. Longford are relegated after losing to Laois - their sixth straight defeat.

Final round games on Sunday April 7 (3pm): Derry v Westmeath, Celtic Park; Louth v Longford, Drogheda; Wexford v Laois, Wexford Park; Armagh v Galway, Athletic Grounds.

Irrespective of the results in the last round of games, Westmeath will be playing in the Allianz FL Division 2 final - due to take place in Croke Park on Sunday, April 28.

Yet another great comeback by Westmeath today - is it spirit or fitness that is proving the telling factor? Give us your views ...

Derry beat Louth and are well placed to claim promotion as well

Westmeath will travel to Derry for their last game with promotion already in the bag

A thrilling contest, especially in the second half. Armagh's relegation worries increased by this result. Also in Division 2, Galway beat Wexford, 1-16 to 0-11

Westmeath fans celebrate - it's Division 1 football here we come!

Westmeath substitute Doron Harte fouls Ciaran McKeever and Aaron Kernan takes the free but he kicks it wide - the final whistle blows, a one point win for Westmeath - 0-17 to 0-16

The referee allows play to continue ...

Great work by David Duffy - who is having a fine game - but then a mistake by Callum sees a great opportunity go abegging

James Dolan narrowly off target from a good chance, still level, two mins left

Dessie Dolan hits wide off his left foot - game still on a knife edge. Exciting finish in prospect

Kieran Gavin pulls down Forker (that man again) and gets a yellow card. Aaron Kernan hits the free from an acute angle just wide, still level with just over five minutes left

Forker brings Armagh level - 0-16 each. If he keeps playing like this, maybe we'll have a 'Meet the Forkers' film!

A huge free by John Heslin goes over via the crossbar (60th minute) - Westmeath 0-16 Armagh 0-15

Sharry enters the fray instead of Denis Corroon - can Westmeath get the vital scores to win it and clinch promotion? Even a draw would do.

A great contest now

Denis Glennon moves the home side closer and the crowd acclaims the score

Within 20 seconds of the restart, Kieran Martin sends over a Westmeath point - Westmeath 0-6 Armagh 0-10

It's a useful lead for Armagh but Westmeath will have the strong wind in the second half. Westmeath have had to come from behind in each of their league games so far and have managed to avoid defeat in all of them. Can they do it again?
